We are proud to continue Lucille's legacy. She founded AFM because of her personal experience as a mother of a child with developmental disabilities and autism and the difficulties of finding fitness programs that are appropriate for people with special needs.
Many individuals with special needs lead very sedentary lifestyles and do not get appropriate exercise, especially as they age. The lack of fitness programs for individuals with special needs (both children and adults), was the motivation for starting AFM.
